About
This is a community package of Kelivo, maintained independently. It repackages the official upstream build unmodified.
Kelivo is a Flutter chat client for large language models that works with many providers, including OpenAI-compatible APIs, Anthropic, Google and local models through Ollama.
- Assistants with their own model, prompt, tools and parameters.
- Web search, MCP servers over HTTP and SSE, skills and memory.
- Images, PDF and Word documents, and audio as input; voice input and text-to-speech.
- Markdown, code and math rendering, chat export and backup.
The package has network access for the providers you configure, can record and play audio, and shows an optional tray icon. It has no filesystem grant: chats and settings stay in the application's private per-app directory, and attachments, imports and exports go through the file chooser portal.
Features that start programs on your computer are limited inside the sandbox: MCP servers over STDIO and workspace commands can only run tools that are part of the package, so use MCP servers over HTTP or SSE instead. To let a workspace edit a folder, grant it: flatpak override --user --filesystem=/path/to/folder com.psyche.kelivo. Global hotkeys work on X11 sessions only.
