About
This is a community package of LightCraft, maintained independently and unaffiliated with the LightCraft project. It repackages the official upstream Linux release build unmodified.
LightCraft is an open-source, native photo library and raw developer written in Rust that follows the Adobe Lightroom workflow. It is local-first: no account, no cloud and no telemetry.
- Its own raw decoders: DNG, Canon CR2, Sony ARW, Nikon NEF, Fujifilm RAF and more
- Scene-referred, wide-gamut develop pipeline running on the GPU
- Color grading, tone curves, the Color Mixer, presets and profiles
- Brush, linear, radial and range masks
- A catalog with collections, ratings, flags and keywords
- Scriptable from a CLI and an MCP server
The headless command runner and MCP server is included: flatpak run --command=lightcraft-cli ai.storyteller.lightcraft --help
Permissions: this package uses the same sandbox as upstream's own Flatpak manifest: display (Wayland, with X11 as a fallback), the GPU device, and the Pictures folder. Files anywhere else are opened and saved through the system file chooser. No network access is granted.
Optional overrides:
- Let agents on the host reach the
--controlautomation server:flatpak override --user --share=network ai.storyteller.lightcraft - Open files by path anywhere in your home folder (command line, Open Recent):
flatpak override --user --filesystem=home ai.storyteller.lightcraft
