About
This is a community package of FigCraft, maintained independently and unaffiliated with the FigCraft project. It repackages the official upstream Linux release build unmodified.
FigCraft is an open-source, native interface design and prototyping app written in Rust that follows the Figma workflow: the same toolbar, layers panel, Design panel, menus and shortcuts.
- Frames, vector networks, text and images on an infinite canvas
- Auto layout and constraints for responsive designs
- Components, variants, shared styles and variables
- Prototyping with interactions and transitions, and a presentation mode
- Inspect panel with measurements and code snippets; SVG, PNG, JPG, WebP and PDF export
- Every action is a command, scriptable from a CLI, a JSON control channel and an MCP server
The headless command runner and MCP server is included: flatpak run --command=figcraft-cli ai.storyteller.figcraft --help
Permissions: this package uses the same sandbox as upstream's own Flatpak manifest: display (Wayland, with X11 as a fallback), the GPU device, and the Pictures and Documents folders. Files anywhere else are opened and saved through the system file chooser. No network access is granted, so live sharing sessions are unavailable until you allow it.
Optional overrides:
- Share files online or on the local network, and let agents on the host reach the
--controlautomation server:flatpak override --user --share=network ai.storyteller.figcraft - Open files by path anywhere in your home folder (command line, Open Recent):
flatpak override --user --filesystem=home ai.storyteller.figcraft
